Ice Cream, Carnivals, and Heineken

Day 85: 007 and Talking Sea Gulls

Well all, I thought that today would be a complete bust, but it turned out to be quite a memorable evening.  The day seemed pretty typical. I slept in a little then got up and ready for class. Class well was class. We talked about the poor and if they benefit from globalization, I won't get into this as I could talk about it all day....so I will skip to after class where Brittany and I headed to the Kapsalon place because we were starving! It was like usual amazing. I had a diet coke too. Oh I forgot to talk about how cold it was. I don't get the weather here. I mean one part of the day is beautiful the next part is freezing. It was almost to the point I had to put my winter coat on in the classroom it got so cold. But that isn't important. After demolishing our Kapsalons we decided to stop and get candy! We got some "dutch" stuff that we haven't tried yet like kinder chocolate and the cookies Jazmyn is addicted to! From there we came back and changed into our Pj's to warm up. I did some cleaning and my laundry. The rest of the afternoon was same old same old. Getting stuff organized and wasting time....Then we made dinner. Nothing exciting just some rice. then we went and got ice cream! Yum! And the whole gang decided to go. This is when Brittany and I became 007 agents, later to be joined by Jazmyn. We were waiting for everyone else and were bored/hot so went outside and hung out. During this time there were two sea gulls that kept talking to us....well Jazmyn was talking to them. Then they called all their other sea gull friends and we almost got into a brawl with them. Just kidding we did scream and run as they flew away when we walked past them. Finally they were ready and we headed to get ice cream. Our usual place was closed so we kept walking and found a place that had even cheaper ice cream! Made my day!

BAHAHAHAHA!!!! I forgot to tell this side story. Before we left to go and get ice cream I went to get Freddy's clothes, as I was getting mine, but ran into a really embarrassing moment. I went down a floor to check Brittany's clothes and thought that Freddy's clothes were on that floor. I took all the clothes pictured above out and brought them upstairs to find Freddy's actual laundry. In a panic I went downstairs and attempted to get the clothes back in the drier but they got stuck and I was scared that their owner would come and try to claim them. I ended up fixing it so the lid shut, but I couldn't stop laughing from this experience!

Please note this was not the whole gang. I didn't get pictures of Kylie, Rhea, or Jess with their cones as we headed off to the train station to look at ticket prices. Only to be met by Rhea so we turned around an headed back. But one good point from this pointless walk towards the station, we found a carnival! Right we all became little kids as we walked through. Then Summer, Rhea, Kylie, and Jess got on a ride and Jazmyn almost peed her pants from laughing so hard at them. Here is a video to see just how funny it was. The RIDE!!!!

After the carnival we decided on our walk home that a beer sounded good so we sprinted to Hoogvliet before it closed and got a 24 pack of Heineken and an apple cider thing. Then we walked home, during which Freddy's manhood was challenged as the 24 pack was really freaking heavy (here they are crates of glass bottles). Then we got backed and played card games after no other game ended up working. Then Summer made us Bear Fries! YUM!!!! All in all it was a great day!!!
