Day 78: Photoshop
Well it was a typical morning, and then went to class. I thought that the topic for today would be really boring, but I was completely wrong. The topic was about the public sphere and we got to debate. We debated about energy being provided in either the public or private sphere. I was on the public side and it got pretty interesting. Our points were that the prices would be more consistant and more sustainable energy could be used (or have specified energy per area). The other group based their argument off of typical neoliberal arguments so there really wasn't a middle ground. Dennis didn't feel good so we got to watch a movie about sweat shops in China. I think when I get home and will need to buy jeans, I will be looking at the labels a little more carefully. These people went weeks without pay and worked 15 hour days sometimes. All of which is so wrong. After class Brittany and I ate kiwis and cashews for lunch and worked on our photography assignment for 4 hours. My tree looks really really cool. This weeks assignment is cubism, so I am taking pictures of a bunch of species of trees and combining them together to get one single tree. I figured this was fitting as my theme is mother nature.
After this Brittany and came back to hugo and did absolutely nothing. We attempted to watch a movie but could not find one and spent most of the evening doing that. Finally we found one, Se7en, but then Brittany's computer crashed so we decided to just go to bed.
