Up The River, Down The River, Indian Poker and Kings!

Day 37: Some Drinks With Friends

Well today started off as a pretty typical day. I had globalization and woke up early to shower and look decent for class. Then class was semi interesting. We talked about the global economy, which was a review for me because of IPE. Then we also talked a straight three hours of globalization theory. Good news from class I got an A on my paper! After class Brittany and I decided to not do anything school related and watched three episodes of Vampire Diaries. There was so much drama in it! After that we decided to cook dinner. It was pasta with mushrooms and cheese. Then Jazmyn, Brittany, Freddy and I decided that we would hang out and drink in Brittany’s room. We played lots of drinking games. I learned two new games. The first was up the river, down the river where you place 4 cards by each other with one on the top after you have been dealt your hand. As your flip up the river you give drinks, and as you flip down the river you have to take drinks. Each time a card is flip the amount of drinks increases. So the first card is one drink, the second card is two, etc. This probably would make more sense with a picture, but I don’t have one. The other game I learned was Indian Poker where you place a card on your forehead and you ask three questions in order to guess the card. It was really fun and easy for me because I was really sweaty. After we were done playing drinking games I fell asleep hoping I wouldn’t wake up with a hangover….
