London one more day!

Day 60: I bid you a farewell! 


Sadly our adventures of spring break are coming to an end. Today is our last day together as a big group as Freddy and Jazmyn leave for Leiden this evening and Brittany and I have to camp out in the airport till our flight leaves at 7 tomorrow morning. We slept in a little and woke up and watched some TV as it is a luxury we didn't think we all would miss so much. Then I took the longest shower of my life as I knew I wouldn't get to shower for the next 48 hours and I had a long two days ahead of me. We headed to King's Cross Station where we were to get our picture with platform 9 and 3/4 but stopped by McDonalds to get some lunch. I had CHICKEN NUGGETS!!!! So excited about that! After our pictures we ended up saying goodbye to Freddy and Jazmyn and Brittany and I were left by ourselves. Kind of weird. We decided to find the Globe Theater, and find it we did! Along with the a close up of St. Pauls Cathedral and also the Millenium Bridge, which is another Harry Potter highlight. My picture of the Millenium Bridge is lost in photoland and somehow did not get uploaded to my computer. :( but here are some other pictures.

I love the gate to get into the Globe Theater. It had little animals on it! 

After this adventure Brittany and I headed to Limerick Station to get our tickets to Stansted and snagged some dinner along the way. We got to the Airport with 12 hours to go before our flight left and found out that you can't go through security until four hours before your flight leaves. We ended up staying up most of the night talking about girl things and finishing our homework.
