Spring Break Stop Number One: Dublin

Day 50:  Love at first sight!

Well the day started off with being late and that seemed to be the theme for the rest of the day. Brittany and I pretty much sprinted to class and made it just in time. Globalization was same old same old. After we got done we met Freddy and Jaz and sprinted off to train station where I wolfed down a French fry for lunch. Of course there was a wait for the train so I was freaking out, but we made it to the airport and through security with an hour and half to spare. The plane ride was just a plane ride until we started our decent and I instantly fell in love. There were rolling hills, trees, and GREEN, GREEN everywhere! We got off the plane and got another stamp in our passport! Then got on a bus and trekked it to our hostel, the Generator. It was so nice and there we found out they offered a free walking tour, which we decided to do later on. After we got settled in we went to the The Brazen Head, the oldest pub in Dublin. There I had salmon and pasta with a white sauce and Guinness! I mean it was only natural to drink Guinness in Ireland so it was first choice. From there we had some time so we went on an adventure and explore the city, in other words went shopping. We found Pennies and I got new belts for super cheap. While there there was a fight of some sort because there was blood all over the store and a huge puddle outside. Not good! After shopping we headed back to our hostel and got drinks, Captain and Coke of course, and people watched. We learned that they play billiards in Ireland and not pool, and that people randomly break dance. It wasn’t too late a night because it was a long day and we had an early start to the next day.

Me and Brittany being all cheesy on the flight over. Jaz and Freddy are int he background. I liked the one of Jaz giving us bunny ears, but it was a little blurry so this picture will do.

The view from my window while flying. Sorry there aren't any of the decent, but cameras are supposed to be off then.

The Brazen Head! YUM!

My Guinness!

My dinner. So good!

Dublin at night!

Look Left! A helpful reminder.

Oh and don't forget to look right while crossing the street!
